We love to support our local musicians by giving them somewhere to play and an audience to listen. We have live music every Saturday night from 7pm and Sunday arvos from 2pm, then on special occasions we have extra live music on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday night. LACHY HAMILTON

A local lad hailing from Scotland Island, Lachy Hamilton began playing the piano at the age of four. Taking up the clarinet, and then saxophone soon after, his musical journey has taken him around the world performing with the likes of James Morrison, Don Burrows, Kate Ceberano, James Muller, Sarah McKenzie, Patti Austin, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and many more. He’s fast becoming a Jazz musician worth seeking out! We’re pleased to have him at Modus

Kane Muir

Kane Muir is a one man blues band from Sydney, Australia. “A gypsy jangle blues rhythm with a great growl,” His musical stylings combine blues, jazz, gypsy and folk from around the world. Stomping atop his suitcase drums, He plays both the bass and guitar parts while singing with husky soul. A multi-instrumentalist, Kane also plays the harmonica, trumpet & saxophone.

Lachy Hamilton

Come along on Australia Day for good vibes, fresh beers and with Lachny Hamilton playing, great music. It’s a three day weekend. Rude not to!

EAST WEST BLUES

Steve West & Emmanuel Gial are 2 musicians who we’re in a band together a few years back who had an admiration for the Blues in it’s pure form. Since they were the 2 main players & singers, together they decided that as a duo the music was more sincere and people everywhere were preferring the acoustic sound which held itself true to its original meaning and feel. Along with some traditional Blues numbers they cover other songs by the likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Tony Joe White and more.

SATURDAY 2ND FEBRUARY | 7PM

Mark and the blues

CLet Mark’s passion for the blues take you for a journey through the old Mississippi and the deep south where blues originated. Songs from the like of Robert Johnson, Blind Blake, Mississippi Fred McDowell and others. Mark plays on acoustic, resonator and banjo while he is joined by Eric K. Betts on harmonica and David Rowlands on washboard.

Missy jazz and the groovers

Missy Jazz and the Groovers. We play hits from the 70’s and 80’s including songs from artists like Boz Scaggs, Stevie Winwood, Ray Charles and Chaka Khan. We also throw in a few originals to mix it up and start the night with some smooth lounge jazz to ease into the night.

LONG WAY SOUTH

Long Way South bring you the best vintage high energy New Wave, Indie, Punk and Britpop from the UK. Comprised of 5 experienced ex-pat Brits they are the only Sydney based band specialising in this genre. With songs from artists such as the Psychedelic furs, The Clash, Pulp, The Police, The Sex Pistols, Billy Idol, Blur and Oasis they create a rampant nostalgic atmosphere while making it exciting and fresh for those new to the music.
