SUNDAY 18th | 3pm - 6pm

Octave Inc is the creation of saxophonist Michael Slater. An accomplished jazz saxophonist from Nashville, Tennessee, Slater's sound has been described as a "sleazy saxophone ghost.. taken straight from Clarence Clemons songbook.'

Most known for his work with Shining Bird, Ernest Ellis and studio project Rain King, Slater's alt-jazz quartet is the culmination of a variety of genres he has been part of.

This band can be described as a genre bending wall of sound, though swaying in the direction of free form jazz. They explore various areas of music, centring on jazz fusion and pop. They bring a killer sound to the stage - its alive and enthralling music. Never sounding the same way twice, the band brings an organic, evolving soundscape to their live performances.
