We love to support our local musicians by giving them somewhere to play and an audience to listen. We have live music every Saturday night from 7pm and Sunday arvos from 2pm, then on special occasions we have extra live music on a Wednesday, Friday or Sunday night. See below for details of upcoming music.

Sunday 8th September

Gavin Rimmer - what can we say. Gav is best served on Sunday’s, fresh and local. Covering all the classics and keeping the regulars on their toes. Come and see Gav from 3 - 6 this Sunday.

nikki steinfeld.jpg

Nikki Steinfeld returns to MO, this time she sings with Sugar Bowl Hokum. Sugar Bowl Hokum have gone way back to the dawn of recorded music to create their vibe.

Driven by their love of obscure songs from the 1920’s and 30’s, Sugar Bowl Hokum scour the crackly grooves of old 78’s to find the best forgotten blues gems of the era. The music of some very feisty almost forgotten trail blazers makes up a large part of their repertoire.

Friday night just got that much better!

Saturday 14th September

Love drunk hearts

Love Drunk Hearts make music that speaks to the messiness, beauty and complexity of modern life.

Drawing colour from a wide pallet of sounds with nods to boy and bear, Dan Auerbach and Neil Young the band creates the sonic space for melodic story-telling accompanied with lush harmonies, reverb soaked guitars and precise rhythms.

Sunday 15th September

VJ FLORIDA[11123].jpg

Vince is a regular around M.O. H.Q.

He plays a variety of tunes from well known classics, to off-the-wall covers. Come down and see for yourself!

simon kinny lewis

simon kinny lewis.jpg

Simon Kinny-Lewis has a smooth sound that is musically brilliant and very easy on the ear. He performs several of his own songs seamlessly mixed with soulful renditions of tunes by Hendrix, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Prince, Robben Ford, Chris Cain etc. Simon is also extremely adept at incorporating ‘looping’ technology, giving him a full, dynamic sound. Simon also performs in duo mode with Sydney harmonica player Ian Hollister, well known for his association with The Lemon Squeezin’ Daddies and Ray Beadle.

Simon is just home after another very successful tour to the US. This is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Chillin to the sounds of the Blues with a Modus Operandi brew.
